Another Frescobaldi favorite. It’s a Chianti priced at $18.99 I feel like this one is the best one for your money although Susan would disagree with me as she prefers the Nipozzano ($27.99). They are both beautiful wines, medium bodied, fruity without being sweet. Easy to drink but great with food as well. They go down a little to easy and still sit at the 13% alcohol content. To me this is a perfect balance of fruit and spice, a great early fall wine to eat with warm pasta dishes.
NSLC Tasting Notes: A luminous red wine with striking flavours and aromas of dark cherry, berries, spice and chocolate.
